By car:

Located between Nantes and Bordeaux. Access by the 3-kilometre-long toll bridge.
From Nantes: take the direction for Bordeaux/La Rochelle, then, at La Rochelle take the direction for the Île de Ré. After the bridge to the Île de Ré, turn left at the first roundabout in the direction of ‘bois plage’, going South. Then, at the second roundabout, continue straight ahead, following the signs for ‘bois plage’. At the third roundabout, go straight ahead following the signs for ‘le bois plage’.  After 800 m., turn left.
From Bordeaux: take the A10 in the direction of Paris and then the A837 towards La Rochelle. After going through Rivedoux-Plage you will reach Sainte-Marie-de-Ré.
